Top Franschhoeks chefs at the WSF

  • February 24, 2017

With less than two months to go until Artlogic’s popular Winter Sculpture Fair, close to 40 of Franschhoek’s chefs and winemakers are conceptualising their menus and wine offerings for two days of foodie fun.

Chef Jerry Kennedy of The Franschhoek Cellar will be joining us for the first time this year, and is ‘excited to be part of something great that is held so far from home’. He’ll be making gourmet grilled pita breads filled with the likes of buffalo mozzarella caprese salad, Tandoori-style sliced chicken, and pulled pork with Asian cabbage salad and spicy mayo

Regular Winter Sculpture Fair chef Neil Jewell of Bread & Wine Vineyard Restaurant will be here in full force again, serving up his irresistible charcuterie platters. ‘The care, thought and man hours that go into our products reveal themselves in their taste,’ says Neil. This will be his fourth year at the Fair, and Neil, whose stand is always one of the most popular, says he ‘loves showing off the Franschhoek Village team in Joburg’.
